Can't be bothered by coupons? Think again!
OK, so this has been a month and a half without childsupport, and things are a little tight here! I'm down...but I'm definately NOT OUT! What is one of the tricks to my survival?? It's a little lifestyle that my sweet, little mother taught me: CLIPPING COUPONS! There was a time not too long ago where I thought "HECK NO!!! I don't have time for that garbage." Then I calculated how much I could save in a year, and I figured how much time it would take me to work for that money, and I realized that I couldn't afford to not cut coupons!
Regular coupon users can save as much as $5,000 a year if you know some basic tricks. Here is the first trick that I will teach you to help y'all have an extra $5,000 in your bank account next year! Ready to go to Cancun, all expenses paid thanks to your frugality? That's what I THOUGHT!!!
Alanita's trick #1: Read the Fine Print
Coupon values are determined by their wording, not by the item pictured. Look for words like "any variety" and limiting terms like "applies to 1.4 ounces size and larger." If the size or variety is not specified, then the coupon works for any size or variety. The coupon needs to state specific varieties/sizes or exclude specific varieties in order to limit its use.
Last week I bought $81.24 worth of groceries for $29.51. That's a savings that will help a single mom, a middle class family, and a smart shopper SURVIVE!
Any Questions for the coupon queen? I will write you a letter with my response. Have a great day!!!
